Pt. Nehru says that people of every country believe that their country is the best. Every country has admirable point about it. It has great achievements as well as bad periods in their history. Neither anybody is perfect nor thoroughly bad. All countries are mixtures of good and evil.
पं. नेहरू कहते हैं कि सभी देशों के लोग यह विश्वास करते हैं कि उन्हीं का देश सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। हर देश के बारे में कुछ प्रशंसनीय बातें होती हैं। उनकी कुछ महान् उपलब्धियाँ होती हैं साथ ही साथ उसके इतिहास में बुरे दौर भी गुजरे होते हैं। ना तो कोई पूर्ण रूप से सही होता है ना ही पूरी तरह गलत। सभी देश अच्छाइयों और बुराइयों का मिश्रण है।

The youth must have pride and ambition to do something worthwhile and big. Youth deprived of these two things are sloppy and disliked by all. Pride and ambition should not be taken in small personal sense. Pride and ambition should be such that make us excel in our field of work.
युवाओं को गर्व और महत्वाकांक्षा अवश्य ही होनी चाहिए किसी महत्वपूर्ण और बड़ा कार्य करने हेतु। इन दो चीजों से वंचित युवा लापरवाह होते हैं और उन्हें सभी द्वारा नापसंद किया जाता है। गर्व और महत्वाकांक्षा को छोटे व्यक्तिगत अर्थ में नहीं लिया जाना चाहिये। गर्व और महत्वाकांक्षा ऐसे होने चाहिए जो हमें हमारे कार्य क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट बना सकें।

Answer:
The people who have achieved greatness have become so because they have virtue and ability. The more important thing they had was ambition and pride. They tried to do big things and in trying so they increased their stature.
वे लोग जिन्होंने महानता प्राप्त की है वे ऐसे बने क्योंकि उनमें थे गुण और क्षमता। अधिक महत्वपूर्ण चीज यह है कि उनके पास था महत्वाकांक्षा और गर्व। उन्होंने बड़े कार्य करने का प्रयास किया और इस तरह उन्होंने अपना कद बढ़ा लिया।
