Describe the thoughts of Bhama Shah about his motherland. (Imp.)
भामा शाह के अपनी मातृभूमि के प्रति विचारों को वर्णन करो।
Answer:
Bhama Shah says that his motherland has given him so much that even when the princes hungered they hoarded gold. Now its time for him to do whatever he could for his motherland. Therefore he submits all his wealth to Pratap Singh. He says once he has used his sword for his motherland and he has striven throughout his life to do so again.
भामा शाह कहते हैं कि उनकी मातृभूमि ने उन्हें इतना ज्यादा (धन सम्पत्ति) दिया है कि ऐसे समय में भी जब राजकुमार भूख से बेहाल थे, वे लोग स्वर्ण के भंडार जमा कर रहे थे। अब यह उनके लिये समय आया है कि वे मातृभूमि के लिए जो कुछ कर सकते हैं, करें। इसीलिये वे अपनी सारी सम्पत्ति प्रताप सिंह को समर्पित कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि एक बार उन्होंने अपनी तलवार का प्रयोग अपनी मातृभूमि के लिए किया था और जीवन भर वे ऐसा फिर से करने के लिये बेचैन थे।

Pratap Singh rightly calls Bhama Shah the ‘Saviour of Mewar’ because he provides the much sought help to him at a very crucial time. It was the time when Rana Pratap had lost all hopes of restoring, the pride of Mewar and had almost decided to spend his remaining life in exile. The help from Bhama Shah revitalizes the hope and ability to fight Mughals.

Answer:
Maharana Pratap was a great warrior king of Mewar. He loved his motherland very much. He devoted his entire life to save the honour of Mewar. Even after being defeated by Akbar, he did not submit to his supremacy. He preferred to face the hardships of exile than to be a subordinate ruler.
महाराणा प्रताप मेवाड़ के महान योद्धा राजा थे। वे अपनी मातृभूमि से अत्यधिक प्रेम करते थे। उन्होंने अपना पूरा जीवन मेवाड़ के सम्मान की रक्षा में समर्पित कर दिया। अकबर से पराजित होने के बावजूद भी उन्होंने उसके वर्चस्व के आगे समर्पण नहीं किया। उन्होंने उसके आधीन एक राजा बनकर रहने से ज्यादा निर्वासन के कष्टों को झेलना पसंद किया।
